What type of payments to you accept?
Cash, Check and Charge are acceptable forms of payment.
Do you offer house-calls?
Northern California house calls are available with an additional fee.
Ask us about house call fees for locations inside and outside of Marin County.
Do you see Out of Town clients?
Yes! For clients flying in from out of the area, we can do modified Shared Journey programs to address your needs over a shorter time period. Traveling to you, outside of Northern California, is a possibility, provided that the timing meets both of our scheduling needs.
What is your policy on inclusivity?
At Beelight, we are absolutely prioritize harm-freedom. Fostering an inclusive and healing environment is our top priority. Our aim at Beelight is to create a relaxing space for clients to be celebrated in an environment free from oppressive behaviors or remarks. We will not tolerate any forms of racism, homophobia, xenophobia, transphobia, heterosexism, fat-shaming, sizeism and/or ableism. Bigotry, disrespect and hatred are unwelcome. Compassion, kindness and respect is of utmost importance to us.
Is your space fragrance-free?
Yes. Out of respect for people with environmental illnesses, we refrain from wearing fragrances. This includes refraining from wearing clothing that has been laundered with fragranced detergent or softening products. We aim to be accessible to those with MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities). Essential oils are sometimes offered, only if clients are clearly in favor of them.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in the life of everyone. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored: 24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. 48 hours is preferred. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
What if I miss my appointment?
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a“no-show.” They will promptly be invoiced for their “missed” appointment. We do our best to honor your time, so we appreciate that you kindly honor ours.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the“full”session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.
